“What was once in the deep is now in the shallows” and what they should do is throw this movie back into the deep and watch it drown. I love Blake Lively don’t get me wrong but this movie was exactly what I expected it to be, a chick stuck on a rock the entire time while a shark tries to eat her. No surprise there. While there were some suspenseful moments in the last 27 minutes, the first hour was quite slow. I mean how many times can they show the same exact screen shot of her in a bikini floating in the water? That doesn’t make the quality of the movie any better. I never want to see this movie be compared to Jaws there is no comparison. I walked into the movie theater expecting to see a realistic shark movie which would be better than some three-headed shark Syfy film. I guess no one can make a decent shark movie anymore. I should just stick to Sharknados at least those films have more action. I swear to God the only thing that saved this movie was Steven the seagull and what happens to the shark at the end. I just really wish they gave the shark more screen time instead of staring at Blake Lively’s character shivering on a rock the whole time. They had a very weak plot in this movie, I mean there isn’t much you can do with a shark movie but I think they could have tried a little harder than just a girl stuck on a rock trying survive. I gave this movie 5 out of 10 Stars. Enjoyable but not compelling enough.

The movie IDR was a major let down and was nothing compared to the 1st film. The 1st movie had so much more to offer in terms of great action and acting. The plot was terrible and if not for Jeff Goldblums acting this movie would have been a disaster right from the very beginning. Since 1996 when the original came out it would seem we have come very far in technology, however after watching this movie you would have never guessed that. I guess a movie is only as good as its script. We all knew one day the aliens would come back, I just thought if they had 20 years to prepare for this invasion the story, plot, and acting would have been more climactic building up in this action movie.

While watching this movie I came to the realization that actors from this generation will never be as great as those who came before them. I found the acting from the new generation of actors in this film was weak in comparison to the acting style of Will Smith and other returning characters. In the end this movie had a weak plot at best and no real build up to the climax. I rated this movie a 6 out of 10 stars, only because Jeff Goldblums acting was what made this movie enjoyable to watch. In all honesty it’s not that the movie was bad it was just a let down and didn’t compare to the 1st movie.

When making a sequal to a great movie the people who make movies really need to remember that the sequal should be better then the 1st. Most people expect sequels to be worse then the 1st, I think we need to change that don’t you? Any continuation of a movie should be better if not have the same quality as the first one had no matter what.

Even though there were some unexpected changes in this movie, the only thing I feel could have saved this film would have been to let the aliens win. But I guess than they couldn’t make another movie with an intergalactic war in space. I’d rather see a great film be made than watch a series of horrible movies destroy the memory of a great one.

The movie Everybody Wants Some!! Plays out as a 70’s teen comedy much like the movie Dazed and Confused where they explore the lives of seniors on there last day of high school in the 70’s. With no real point or plot in this movie your basically just watching a bunch of baseball players navigate the 3 days leading up to the frist day of college. When watching this movie about an hour in you start to wonder “what’s the point this movie is leading up to”? And then the movie ends and you realize that it had no point other then to show u what theses guys did 3 days before classes start. It was funny and entertaining to watch if you like movies that have no point other then to make you laugh at how stupid guys can be. I rated this movie 5 out of 10 stars.

The show Scream has brought me to appreciate horror movies more. It seems to me this would be a very difficult show to turn into a TV show. Thankfully they changed the story a lot compared to the movie if they didn’t it would have been terrible. It’s almost like they took the movie Scream and the movie I Know What You Did Last Summer and combined the two stories and turned it into a TV show. As for the sub-par acting of the cast the show is not that bad. It is like most shows that MTV produces, because who doesn’t want to watch a bunch of teenagers getting murdered on television in really ironic and stupid ways. If you do you can always turn your channel to the TV show Scream Queens they’re Top Notch and full of stupidity. At least the TV show Scream comes off as though they have some integrity for the actual movie Scream. All and all I’d say it’s not a bad show, I just wish that the main character Emma would just stop complaining and whining all the time and just do something.

The television show The Fosters is a new type of show I very much enjoy. I like that they’re using things that people can relate to on this show. Things that many people deal with in there own life. I think this show may really help teens in real life see that other people go through the same things. This show is not afraid to go there, to show you hard issues that people are facing in today’s world. I would definitely recommend this show to people.

The show Wynonna Earp makes for quite and enjoyable television experience . I enjoy how they took the real life story of Wyatt Earp and turned the story about him into a show about his family being demon Hunters. Because let’s get real who doesn’t love a show about a crazy chick with a demon killing gun. While the show is on Syfy I felt that they did quite a decent job adapting this story from a comic book into a show. I really enjoy the character of Doc Holliday he is very funny/sarcastic and is pretty easy on the eyes if you like that sorta thing. If you like Syfy/ dramas / Westerns / thrillers than this shows for you.

The television show Pretty Little Liars is a show I have been watching since it started back in 2010. So I may be a little bias because it is one of my favorite shows, even though the story of late has gotten a little out of control and seems to never end I still love it. This show is a teen drama based around the disappearance/murder of one of their friends and secrets that never stay buried for long. I think it is a great show with a good plot and never ending plot twists.
I know all shows must come to an end at some point I just don’t want this to be one of them. I really wish that they could find a way to really change up the story instead of changing the murderer every year. The show doesn’t exactly play as though it’s based in real life only because the police department in this town just don’t seem to have a freaking clue what is going on. And the girls seem to deal with black mail/kidnapping/murder and never think now is a good time to go to the cops because some one is threatening you once again. It seems fake in that aspect. I mean when is some one going to be like “Enough is enough! I’m so sick of getting screwed with after we take down one murderer another one just seems to take there place”! In all honesty I think they all have a secret “They all love to be the center of attention and no one is innocent”.

I would definitely recommend watching this show if you’re interested in murder mysteries of the highest level where there’s never just one killer, and there is always room for more secrets.

The movie Central Intelligence was exactly how I expected it to be funny but unfortunately not hilarious enough to bring me to tears. I enjoy Kevin Hart’s sense of humor as well as Dwayne The Rock Johnson’s, however the movie was not as good as others I have enjoyed in the past.
I find it funny that I just watched a movie called The do-over with Adam Sandler and David Spade and it seems to me that they are almost kind of the same movie. The do-over don’t get me wrong is a very stupid movie, I just mean they share some very similar details. In the end I felt that they could have given the movie Central Intelligence a little bit more depth and was more on the serious side. I would have liked it to be more like the movie Ride Along, funny but still serious. All and all I rated this movie 5 out of 10 stars.

The movie Miracle from Heaven was a non stop tearjerker “like no joke.” If you are a girl and everything makes you cry, this movie does not let you hold back your emotions for one second. I am glad I waited to see this film at home or else me crying every 20 or so minutes would have been super embarrassing. This movie was entertaining and right up there with the movie Heaven is for real. Whether or not you believe in God or what took place in this movie actually happend is up to you. Since this movie was based on a true story it is up to you if you think it really happend based on a miracle from God. But all and all I gave this movie 6 out of 10 stars.

The movie Love & Friendship was I’m sorry to say one of the hardest movies to follow. Beyond the fact that it was odd acting and even stranger Behavior by the characters. I love Jane Austen but this movie was a major letdown in my opinion. They don’t exactly come out and tell you what is happening in this film. They kind of just make you have to figure it out for yourself, they only tell you who the characters are and how they are related to each other. It’s a terrible way to go in making a movie and not telling people what is going on “I hate having to guess the plot”. This movie played out as if it was two friends making a plan to steal another man’s husband while also trying to marry another man yet your daughter is engaged to be married to this other man or another man. See it’s very confusing and makes no sense and should not have been made into a movie, some books are just better left on the shelf. Speaking from experience seeing all of the adaptations of Jane Austen’s books that are currently movies I’d say are much better and way more amusing then this film. I gave this film 2 out of 10 stars.

The movie Warcraft was surprisingly different from most of the action, fantasy, and adventure movies I have seen. Maybe it was because it was based off of a game I’m not sure. The film was entertaining but leaves you in a lurch at the end making you not quite sure if you want a sequel. The movie gives off a lord of the kings vibe mixed with the movie Thor. What I mean is it has the same type of fantasy characters from Lord of the Rings but a filming quality which plays more with the colorful kid like quality from Thor. The movie was good but I would have liked to see a more darker/adult version of the film. The characters roles are exactly what they appear to be, which are game characters (meaning killing people left and right not letting you get attached to one specific character). I don’t know if this is because the game is more than what the movie is about, or the ending just left the door open to what the point of the game is. But in the end they made a successful film which was enjoyable to watch so I give this movie a 5 out of 10 stars.

The movie Now You See Me 2 was what it was. A continuation from the first movie, I didn’t like this one as much as the other one but it had its funny moments Woody Harrelson never let’s me down.
When it comes to this movie I’d say sequels generally are never as good as the frist. I felt like they took all the magic out of a Magic Act, by telling you how they did all there tricks. There is definitely a lot going on in this movie you kinda get lost a few times, I definitely recommend watching the first one right before you see this one or else you’re going to be lost for most of the movie. While all the actors in this movie bring their own comic relief to their roles, I’d still say the the story line from the first movie was better than this one but somehow it just seemed kind of repetitive by the end of this film. I gave this movie 4 out of 10 Stars.

The movie Me Before You was a heart breaking and wonderful movie. A funny charismatic girl with an odd but great sense of fashion, who is just trying to find her path in life. She takes an unexpected job as a caregiver for a guy who has lost his whole world because of the loss of his body caused by an accident. This movie was heartfelt and deeply touching with the right amount of comedy and sadness. I give this movie 10 out of 10 stars for being lovely and for touching every kind of emotion a movie needs to become great.
